Kenyatta University Inclusion Policy

by HJN Member Stephen Kitsao Masha

Growing up with a disability, I faced some discrimination and I took it positively because most of the people doing the discriminating know nothing about disability. I mean, they do not have information about it. That is what drove my passion to be a journalist. I wanted people to see me on screen and in doing so, their thinking would automatically change and treat us as people who are abled differently, who can add value to society, not as beggars. That was my drive, for sure.”
