Internews, ChicasPoderosas, Consejo de Redacción and Fundamedios are launching a call for participation to provide financial support to media outlets; civil society organizations, associations, and groups; as well as journalists and communicators who deliver information on Covid-19 in Latin America and the Caribbean, and whose work had been affected or is being threatened by the pandemic in the region.
The eligibility criteria are:
- You are a media outlet; civil society organization, association, or group; a journalist or a communicator, whether independent or associated to a media outlet.
- You work in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- You deliver information on the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular towards vulnerable groups, including indigenous communities, afro descendants, migrants, rural populations, women and LGBTQ+ groups and individuals.
- Your work has been affected or has been threatened by the pandemic.
